Camping, I awoke to discover I was no longer in love

A poem from our book, A Beautiful Violation

06 Untitled -

Camping, I awoke to discover I was no longer in love

Branches strangle moonlight
Awkward bodies entangle
Ominous daybreak screams rust
Hiking subconscious paths
Rushing waters surrender
The silence holds answers

Star clustered puddles
This confused heart
A moss covered stone
