JAPANESE GARDEN- A poem from A Beautiful Violation #poetry

Do those tricks you know so well
Where your eyes suck the colors from the room
And the crack of your smile breaks everything in me
Giggle and send static through my being
Do that one where you take my hand and make me weak
My body liquefies then ripples to the building drumbeat
Lead me outside and down a path of grape stones
Past the pond of koi that chase us like starving paparazzi
Let’s play in the shadows of skeleton trees
I love watching you make them beautiful
